Frankfurt/Main Airport
About the project
Since 2023, the check-in counters in Terminal 1 of Frankfurt/Main Airport have been successively undergoing a comprehensive renovation, which includes not only the counters themselves, but also the surrounding areas. LMT Leuchten + Metall Technik GmbH supplies and installed new glass partition walls and doors on the backs of the counter areas, rounded column panels made of coated or sanded stainless steel as well as the large-scale lamella ceilings made of coated aluminum profiles, including monitor brackets and luminaire suspensions.
LMT’s own CEISY ceiling system has an easy-to-use mounting fixture, which means that ceiling elements can be unhooked in predefinable sizes for an easy maintenance of installations running above them, such as pipework and cable harnesses.
LMT additionally offers different specially adapted luminaires for this ceiling, which can be installed very easily by hanging them in a groove on the back of the ceiling slats: from MINI pyca linear downlights with LFO lenses – which can also be set back without the side louvres being impacted by the light beam – to MINI linea diffuser luminaires or FILO luminaires with spoon-shaped reflectors for downlighting and wallwashing.
